Red Lixiang - This is the first epic drama in Nanjing with the theme of the New Fourth Army. The story of Red Li Lane, located in Shitouzhai Village, Baima Town, Lishui District, has been awarded titles such as National Key Rural Tourism Area, Jiangsu Provincial Party School On site Teaching Base, Jiangsu Provincial Party History Education Base, Nanjing Patriotic Education Base since 2017, and has attracted numerous study groups from various regions. The popularity of Red Li Lane has been rising all the way. How did this small mountain village hidden in the deep mountains of southern Jiangsu enter the public eye?
Over a hundred red stories were explained throughout the year, attracting thousands of visitors every day. Ren Sheng'an, a 70 year old volunteer guide from Red Li Lane, has recently become popular. Since April this year, the team that went to Red Li Lane has been attending around 30 classes every day, with more than half of them calling out to attend his classes.
Ren Sheng'an was born and raised in Li Lane, and his childhood neighbors were all former guerrilla fighters. His most profound childhood memory was listening to his neighbors talk about how the New Fourth Army fought in the surrounding areas, how they led the people to engage in production and life, and how the people saved their own food to feed the New Fourth Army soldiers who lived at home. No matter how much Ren Sheng'an listened to the story of a military civilian family, he couldn't hear enough.
After retiring from his teaching position in 2012, Ren Sheng'an became a volunteer guide at Red Li Lane. When he was a child, he didn't hear enough stories, so he would browse through historical materials, chat at villagers' homes, and go home to organize and polish the explanatory notes. Now, he has to give 150-170 lectures to students, villagers, and tourists every year. In the first four months of this year, he has spoken 62 times.
Tell the story of Li Xiang well, the relay baton is now in the hands of young people. Zeng Qingmiao, a 27 year old 90s tour guide, has been working as a tour guide in Lixiang Village for over two years. She thought that when she first started in the industry, every time she talked about the underground transportation terminal, the fifth daughter of station master Li Xiaolian, who was still alive, would sit at the door and listen, sitting there for a whole day. At that time, she had a firm idea and through her own explanation, let more people know about Li Xiang.
Lishui is exploring and innovating various ways of expression to tell good red stories. Around the Red Li Lane, Lishui has created a "Red Matrix" containing 77 revolutionary sites and developed a "Red Special Line" that runs through the entire area. The epic play 'Red Li Lane' that premiered a few days ago brought the story of Li Lane to the stage for the first time. In the future, this play will gradually enter party school classrooms and rural communities to better spread the story of Red Li Lane.
In conjunction with the ongoing education on Party history, Lishui has also developed 37 specialized courses and 10 micro Party courses. It has collaborated with the Marxism College of Nanjing Normal University to develop the "Practice of the New Development Concept in Lishui" and designed interactive teaching courses such as "Taking a New Fourth Army Battle Path". Two routes, namely "Red Li Lane Shishanxia Shan'ao Village" and "Zhongshan Martyrs' Mausoleum Dajinshan National Defense Park", have been selected as the first batch of high-quality study routes for party history education in Nanjing.
